Hello, I have been having trouble with my sound configuration and since I seem to have found the solution, I wanted to share it in case people would experience the same. After having been working fine for a while, Sibelius suddenly started to show multiple error messages when launching, and notably 'no driver installed' and some problem with the 'generic low latency asio driver'. Then Sibelius would work, but have no sound at all (no playback, and no sound when clicking on a tone neither). The well-known starting jingle would not be heard neither. When Sibelius was opened, I could not hear a single sound from my computer (Youtube, iTunes, etc.).
Asio4allWhen closing the program, everything would be fine again. I found that this asio driver was not at all the driver I was supposed to have on my computer, and simply something that had been installed with the trial version of Cubase I had on my computer. I uninstalled Cubase and all of its components, but the problem stayed the same, with the same error message. Unfortunately, it seemed impossible to uninstall the driver from any uninstall program.
